The “Last Percent” Video

Remember the amazing “Last Percent” video that was shown at the New Orleans convention during Bill Gates’ speech? It was produced by The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and is now available online!   We have never stopped at 99% and we will not stop until polio is eradicated.

Rotary Project Reminder

Remember we are still accepting donations of old cell phones which we give to Hope For Animals as a fundraiser for that worthwhile group. Dr. Lonnie De la Houssaye plays an instrumental role with Hope for Animals by neutering and spaying animals brought in through their program. Thanks Lonnie !!!

SHORTER, EDITED Weekly Blessing by Jim Cooley

Dear Lord, we pray for your blessings upon this meeting, our sharing of this meal together, and our fellowship. We gratefully give thanks and acknowledge thy divine presence within each of us and within this place. May this Rotary meeting remind us of our obligation to be a cog within the perpetual, interactive gear of universal service. All these things we humbly ask in your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
