Youthact Club (grades 6-8) at East Thibodaux Middle School is sponsored by the Thibodaux Rotary Club. Their Rotary Club advisor is Dr. Laynie Barrilleaux.

It has been a busy start of the year.  Our last meeting was Wednesday, Sept. 14 to discuss officers, t-shirts, new members, and future events. So far, we are planning to help with the school collection of Box Tops and Labels for Education, a community shoe drive, the annual Pumpkin Patch and Easter Egg Hunt given by a local church, and the local Head Start Fall Festival.  Our next afternoon meeting is set for this Wednesday from 2:30- 4:00pm.
